I'm most impressed by how you were able to replicate the LCD art style where everything is crafted like a puzzle! It's hard to describe, but if you know you know.
I love Papers, Please. It inspired me to make my own game. A spin off of Papers, Please but you are dealing with job interviews. Hi Lucas Pope, if you are seeing this, I just want to thank you for this wonderful medium of art you created. It gives me hope, and inspiration to move on during this job layoffs in game industry.
My first time actually playing papers please, great execution and smart idea with the artstyle. I did forget how SLOW everything felt back then, good thing you remembered. Great project!
I didn’t expect this to be so good! Would you consider releasing this as a .mgw file so I can play it on my handheld offline? Anyway thanks for taking the time to make this.
Great game. Didn't realize there was a view button lol so I played without it on easy mode and got a score of 3. A great rendition of the classic game.
I love how much personality you crammed into this minimalistic format. I love how analogue it all feels, all the little details, and the rhythmicality of the sounds and gameplay. This is such a nice game-toy, I really adore this. Thank you <3 What a nice way to celebrate a 10th anniversary!
it takes away everything that makes papers please good and is not even accurate to how a game & watch works. lame as hell imo. this is like if you played a "demake" of undertale and it was just one shitty bullet hell battle over and over.
Why are you so mad about this. Its a short, neat little game for if you want something simple. How did you go into this expecting some IGN masterpiece when it was very clearly not trying to be.
dukope made it, i expected his seal of quality. it is on the front page, i expect front page games to be playable for more than 2 minutes. most of all, i just expected it to be fun. this is not fun at all.

You must make a physical copy. I grew up with the silly Game and Watch and loved them, this is an infinitely binge-able little game.
I really didn't get to play the original
But at least I got to play it before the region block
Fun little game
I love the game n watch style. :)
Beautiful & fun! I want to have a physical copy!!

Wait, you ARE the creator of the original? :D Mind blown!
Merci pareilleimment a votre soutien moral et intellectuelle mais aussi financière
If you could manage to manufacture these and sell them for anywhere from $30-$60, you could make millions
i second that
I like the gameplay audio and the visuals. It's pretty nice.

imagine shaving ur sideburns and being denied access into ur home country
This is the funniest thing I have seen in a long time.

I wish you port this on Playdate. Perfect LCD screen.
Hi! We played your game on stream and really enjoyed it!
I loved Paper Please and this Demake is really cute!

Fantastic.
I'm glad this goes with a Game&Watch-ish aesthetic and not the Tiger aesthetic. Somehow the Tiger games were always a disappointment.
This might be completely unreasonable but i would love to see this as an actual piece of hardware.
I'd totally own one of those. How can we get this to Nintendo?
I love the style of the game.

I don't get the point of this at all
It's a game and watch version of papers, please. Pretty cool imo

that is ok! its your opinion, but our opinions are correct too :/ don't be rude, no one asked you to play
How does it not replicate the way a game & watch works ?
