I really like this game. I have to post it in my other channel. Very nostalgic.

(+4)

I just keep saying “oh my god he’s a genius” as I play this. Lucas is a true artist.

(+2)

ITS BEEN 10 YEARS!! god watching jackcepticye play it only felt like a couple years ago..

(+2)

Stellar! I'd expect nothing less from Lucas.

Only issue I have is that if you go to mode to turn off the sound, you can't get back out of it and have to start back from day one.

(+1)

Yeah, sound on/off should be a physical switch but I (1) added sound way late, and (2) had already designed the case.

(+1)

I would really like to take this game with me on the go :D

A very interesting and funny game. =)

(+2)

As somebody that destroyed the rubber on a Donkey Kong version of this style of game... I approve you !

Is this game kind of like papers please?

From playing, it's like a low quality papers please

(1 edit) (+3)

It's a demake of Papers Please made by the original devs

(+2)

great experience

(+3)

Plastic version please!

(+1)

does this have an end or it's infinite?

I think it goes infinite. After day 5 score setttings stay at 5. I finished day 6 with 117 points, called it a day.

very interesting

(+2)

holy crap im gonna remake this for the arduboy

(+1)

While playing for the first time (without reading the instructions), I thought faces with only a change in their hair should be allowed to pass. Then I got a citation and I read the manual and I understood it has to match perfectly.

(+3)

It would be cool if that was a rule that coule change:

- Hair cuts allowed

- Face tattoos allowed

- Minor facial reconstruction allowed

Could give it an interesting twist, especially in this format, where the art can be changed so minorly.

(+2)

This is amazing! Im glad to see more from you guys

(+2)

Amazing!!

This would be awesome on the playdate!  https://play.date

(+1)

This is adorable. Happy anniversary

(+1)

This is dope

(+4)

The way the buttons still make that authentic noise when the sound is turned off is genius

(+5)

I wish this was as a real handheld version. To buy it and play it on a teeny tiny little cute screen. Practically everywhere. Happy anniversary for Papers, Please!

(+1)

Got no words to express how much I love this. The way you worked around the limitations of LCD handheld games is mind-blowing. Any chances for an offline/downloadable version at some point? 🙏

(+1)

Loved Papers, Please I'm happy you made this awesome game!

(+1)

Cool! Reminds me of the game and watch

(+1)

To be honest, the sounds especially during the view change can be a bit tedious, nevertheless I can't get enough of how well designed this game is.
My favorite thing is the multiple use of the face, as person, as passport, as wanted poster, all playing around the LCD limitations.
Not to mention all the iconic elements from the original game. Even the passports from different nationalities have varied emblems.

(+1)

Thanks! I intended to make the VIEW process slightly annoying to disincentivize it but probably went a little too far.

(+1)

Well done!

(+1)

very cool!

(+11)

A Playdate version of this would be awesome!

(+1)

This is incredible, the purest form of art and demake!

(+2)

Really beautiful work. I'm glad y'all included a gallery mode.

(+1)

Love gallery mode. Very expressive lcd blots

(+1)

Thanks for ten years

(+1)

cooooooool idea!!!

(+1)

Awesome job, as always!

(+2)

This is absolutely spot on. I’d buy the real one to add to my Game & Watch collection.

(+1)

Super cool.

Thanks for this and everything you do!

Happy 10th Birthday Papers Please. I like the authentic photocopied look of the manual. And the authentic scratched LCD screen.

Big fan of Papers Please, very happy to see this game given more love by the Dev!

Happy 10 year anniversary!
