That's actually deliberate to complete the side of the box. It's how LCD displays work. If the box wasn't depicted, the little line you see would be part of the line showing the edge of the floor. It also can be turned off if there's an object depicted that doesn't use that line.
Absolutely love this game. What a knockout. It's so inspirational to see how the segments of the display can be reused to create different images. The look is fantastic. Dukope can't miss
I love how you pulled all this off without ever cheating on the LCD graphics (I've seen many LCD-styled homages skimp on this). "Moida Mansion" absolutely represents the kind of stuff I wish more genuine LCD games tried, rather than just the often uninspiring dreck Tiger commonly shoveled out. If ever there was a Kickstarter to make this a real LCD game, I'd definitely back it for sure!
Anyone noticed the notes played when pushing each button are different? I don't know if there is a code hidden there for a secret or I'm just paranoid.
Very fun and interesting, once you figure out the patterns is not too difficult, although after my second playthrough I started seen this room labeled as "Void" I wonder if there's any kind of secret there.
Dot and the friends are all home safe. Being a completionist, I wonder what might hide behind some sort of crazy let yourself be attacked x amount of times, with x being the nearest perfect square to the number of light bulbs in the mansion, but I do think I did it and will go to bed now. Thank you for this and thank you forever for papers please.
Fantastic! Was surprised how well this worked on my ancient Samsung phone. I failed to read the well-presented rules doc beforehand, but the game was very intuitive and I was able to beat it after a few tries. Great stuff!

Thanks for the heads up! This (double button presses on mobile) should be fixed now.
Realy nice, escaped full !
I just show a little bug but I am not sure
the line continues along the side of this box.
Good mechanics, and it's generated.
Congrats !
Thanks! That's not so much a bug as a consequence of using segmented LCD restrictions.

Thanks AV!
Wonderful
Absolutely delightful.
Very curious and fun game. I really enjoy it.
Great little game! Makes me think how cool this is just by turning on and off various SVG grouped elements.
My best has been 38 moves to 4/4 rescue.
I love this one, wonderful game while I'm on business, monsta is soooo cute!!

¡Me ha encantado! (I loved it!)
Gameplay en español aquí:
Please post a screenshot of the fully lit LCD screen I tried to capture it twice and failed lol, I need to study it!
It flashes up when the game starts, so hit refresh to see it again
Welp, my stupid ass thought it flashed only at the restart. Thanks a lot!
Anyone noticed the notes played when pushing each button are different? I don't know if there is a code hidden there for a secret or I'm just paranoid.
I always feel like / Somebody's watching me
Very cute! Played twice, saved everyone including Dot both times.
Rescued everyone (including Dot) -- what a fun little game! Love the sound design.
Very fun and interesting, once you figure out the patterns is not too difficult, although after my second playthrough I started seen this room labeled as "Void" I wonder if there's any kind of secret there.
Thanks! The Void's just a Void. Every good haunted mansion needs a Void.
Really fun and interesting horror game. Longplay here:
How do you find the turtle? I found everyone else. I don't think there are any more clues and I don't want to search everywhere else.
One word...buttons.
Thanks!
Your clue made it too obvious. ;)
LCD games were never my thing, but this is great!
What an insanely creative aesthetic, it's real throwback! A fun puzzle to figure out too, thank you for the amazing experience~
It was interesting! I continued and played two rounds.
Fantastic game! I just won after three failed attempts.
i love this so much!!!!
It's incredible how it's faithful to the support's limitations, yet achieve to provide a pretty rich experience.
Also this manual is so cool!
Saved everyone yay! Incredible. Even down to all the LCDs turning on at initialization.
I made the three kids hold down the buttons I found. Now what?
EDIT: Turns out that I missed a button. Oops, my bad!
Beat it first try; all characters (plus Dot). Took me a bit to get used to, but it was quite a fun experience.
No way was I leaving without Dot. Hell no.
Best ending on my first try baby ;)
Good game, will play again. I only wish I could have looked at the reset screen for a bit longer at the end.

got dot on my second try :) after a few tries, my lowest 4/4 right now is 54 moves!
lucas pope made a banger for the playdate and said, 'you know what, i can make a great game with even less'. and by golly, he sure did.
What a ton of fun. Rescued everybody and Dot on my second run.
I love your games, have you ever thought of bringing this or the papers please demake to playdate?
the game is fun!
It could well be a real Game&Watch with a tiny additional dot matrix display. Absolutely genius!

I need this as a physical LCD game device immediately
PRO TIP: The search button will start on the next item in that room after you've searched.
This may save you an hour if you're an idiot like me.
OMG, this is so good
